Thumbs down on “owning” wild animals; they are not pets or toys. Poor baby elephant is so unhappy. As for the lion, the story behind that is that he was injured, got rescued by the lady and brought back to health. He was then eventually turned into a wildlife rescue place. After months away from one another, the lion and his rescuer came face to face, and he hugs her and loves on her. “Thank you, mom.”
you do realize they use elephants in most parts of Asia as a type of transportation or for travel, right?
What about other animals we own as pets? People keep snakes, lizards, fish, and birds as pets.

doesn’t change the fact that they “obtain” the elephants by capturing them out of the wild, usually as babies

+Bella Craig -My lab would do that all the time when she was a puppy. She would lock on to my pants or my sleeve. I don’t think that is animal cruelty. She is pretty spoiled though.
