Though a few bugs might not matter, masssive amounts at a time can make the cat sick. excessive furballing isnt pleasant for both cat and owner. Losses of fur can make the cat skin much more sensitive, and make them colder. so when owners are forcing them to bathe, it’s either to avoid these consequiences, or its that the owners are stupid and think that their cats need a bath but can bathe themsleves.
