At 7:16 I don’t think the little,girl should be around the dog or cat because she is throwing them into the other to fight even when they try to escape. The parents should at least stop her.

I agree. There wasn’t anything cute or funny about that last clip. Those parents wouldn’t have thought it was funny if the kid had accidentally gotten scratched. Then it would have been the cats fault.
The other clips where ok though.

You are wrong. I have had dogs and cats. I have had them at the same time. A cat may not be able to kill a dog (depending on sizes of who’s the biggest) but they can injure a dog. All these dogs and cats, with people laughing in the back ground, are NOT playing. I know they use their mouth to play. I also know they use their mouth to protect themselves, along with their claws.
“all” are not playing? Some are definitely playing. Some cats I’ve had over the years like to play rough with me, and their ears would be pinned back, making growling sounds, biting and clawing, and the next minute purring in my lap.
None of these are funny.

seems most of these compilation videos of pets these days are just animal abuse/neglect. people suck.
John Colunga How is this neglect exactly? Most of these videos were just playing between cats and dogs albeit the last one where the cat was visibly upset and the dog confused it for playfulness. Owners can’t always step in, pets have to learn each other to get along.
just depends on the perspective I guess. I’ve never had a pet I had to train to be nice by letting it fight other animals. You obviously have had different experiences.
John Colunga Yeah well I’ve raised a big dog who unfortunately is very protective and aggressive towards other people and animals so I’m keen on signs of aggression in animals

All of that is true, though cats are generally not the “kindest to others”. Look at this video for example, who is attacking first? Well sometimes its the dog but mostly…it’s the cat.

Many dogs don’t protect their houses either, unless they are trained or of a very territorial race. Some owners tested their dogs and hired fake burglars. The dogs ended up being friendly to them. There are videos of that on YouTube as well.
Sure, a cat will never protect a house like a trained dog. But that doesn’t make them bad pets. It depends on what you are looking for in a pet.

One, maybe two, of these were playing. The rest are human jerks videoing instead of break up a fight. Most of these went on way too long. The fights should have been stopped immediately. They were just being encouraged to fight.
