In this day and age, we as cop watchers, are finding more and more incidents of police violating the rights of the people. Some even go as far as antagonizing citizens into getting them to make drastic mistakes that could be devastating for all involved. The video your about to see is 1 of many examples that are out there. Some stories have a very bad endings, and some have a silver lining, with that said here is the video.
It is no shock to anyone as to why the officer you see in this video was terminated by the Desert Hot Springs Police Department. The officer was originally under investigation for possibly blocking his body came during the arrest, however, Chief Dale said he is confident he was not blocking it. The actions of this officer is very common with hot head cops. That is why its very important to always film your encounters. This has been happening for years all across our country. But until recently, citizens didn’t have a way of showing it. Citizens go to court, they are automatically found guilty or not believed by a judge. Specifically in poor neighborhoods. Ever see a cop be unprofessional in Beverly Hills or a wealthy areas? Nope, always the poor parts of our societies. Most people have been taught at an early age cops are to be trusted and respected. But once they are start interacting with them it comes evident who and what type of people are pulled into this profession. They make movies and shows about their bravery, propaganda. I have a new model for policing in the future. Policemen shouldn’t be armed. They should investigate complaints of crime etc and when they need to use force or make an arrest summon bystanders of armed citizens (all adults esp males should be armed in this model) to effect arrest. No more tactical gear, no rifles or sidearms—just observe and report and investigate and form a posse. The armed citizenry (“militia”) should arrest their fellows. That’s the founders’ vision. Their only conception of securing freedom was an armed “us.” They said such was “necessary for the security of a free state.” Ditch TSA, we’ll all have arms on a plane (no a stray round won’t depressurize a plane). No one hijacks a plane filled with armed men and women. We don’t need NSA or CIA or FBI or armed cops everywhere. If all citizens had arms we’d not only be safer, we’d be more polite, and the weaker members of society would have less to fear from the strong. Will there be problems with this model? Yes. But it looks to me like those problems would be more tolerable than living in a militarized police state, which is where we’re heading if not already there. This is a standing army, which threatens our liberties, as our founders recognized.

I’d like to make an observation here. Watch how many cops chew gum! The faster and harder they chew, the more pissed off they become! Gum chewing is a good way to judge how an encounter is going to end! The faster and harder they chew, the more likely a person is to be hurt by them.
