Madison…don’t embarrass yourself. The ball CLEARLY changes direction 4 times. Can’t happen without either 4 hits or one time being because it hit the ground. So it was either the first girl hit into the second girls knee, and then the first girl pancaked it before the last hit it over (4 hits) or the first girl hit it to the other girls knee where it then bounced…point over.

A hit has to be intentional. A ricochet does not count as a hit. The ball was hit upwards the first time, ricocheted off the knee (which doesn’t count as a hit because it wasn’t played at), hit the diving girls arms as it went down and was then hit over the net. 3 hits.

The really disturbing thing is that the other kid passed the ball to him, he didn’t take the crazy shot himself. It’s like he knew that the kid who threw it was the only one who might be able to do it.
Once, my team played against another team. We were 32-30 and one of my teammates had just gotten a two shot free throw on the last second, we had a chance to tie. He got the first shot but missed the second and the other team exploded with celebration. Turns out the ref had spotted someone from the other team had celebrated to early and stepped out of the line before my teammate made the shot. The ref said my teammate was allowed to shoot again and he actually made it! It was tied 32 all but in this tournament( this was the match that decided our rank for the year)there was something called a shootout challenge when two teams tied. Each team member took a shot and whoever got the most shots won. All of our team scored, even our lousiest shooter! And the opposite team only made one. Let’s just say it was very loud in there! ??

The rules are clear, a ball that hits any part of the body, ACCIDENTAL OR NOT, is a hit. In this case the ball was hit too many times. Some of you here are some other fucking planet or something.
Ok, so I slowed this down. The ball hits: HANDS – KNEE – FLOOR – HANDS. If you look carefully, the player who’s knee was hit by the ball has her foot tucked in as she bends down, plus the ball – by law of physics bounces forward and down from her knee. The ball CLEARLY, AND I DO MEAN CLEARLY, hit the floor. Just by the position of her foot alone, this play was out. And even if you want to pretend it hit her foot- the ball still made contact 4 times. They win by cheat.
HanSolos Blaster it looked like Hands- Knee- Arms- fists; which makes for 4 contacts with the ball. When only 3 are allowed. If the ball hit the ground at all it play is dead/lost.
