I’m sorry but if this is child abuse to you then oh my fucking god. I don’t know about you but when I was a toddler my parents did lots of fun things with me (swing me around, hold me upside down, etc….) and sometimes they made a mistake and I was hurt and crying on the floor.
But you know what? I sure as hell did not want them put in jail for just hurting me by mistake, and end up only seeing them 4 times a year with no physical contact and having no true parents to care for me the rest of my childhood. That is fucking absurd. Your logic is entirely broken.

Glass viewing panels are cool for we humans to get close, but they seriously need to be figuring out a glass that we can see into, but they can’t see through, but not a mirrored one, because that could freak them out too. It just isnt fair for them to be teased like that, it surely has to mess with them, getting so wound up so often. It needs to change.

StephieAck This is true as you can see in almost all instances animals are imprisoned so speciesist people can gawk at them. The parents teach absolutely nothing to their kids about the slave lives of these incarcerated animals. The children grow up as uncaring uninformed and ignorant as the parents and while new generations dismiss the problems. Many of these animals are on antidepressants not only at zoos but at sea world. It is disgusting what humans do to animals and the county fairs are just as bad with the level of stupidity they attract and all the animal meat and dairy they over advertise which is killing and aging millions. It’s all about awareness folks and most people are very deficient in this area.
Guys a lot of zoos are made to save animals and teach the general public by doing so. The problem is that parents don’t know how to respect animals, therefor they put them in danger due to ignorance. If you want to blame anyone blame parents that have no respect.
Once me and my mom where at the zoo and we where at the Tigers cage and he sprayed me and my mom with his pee!!!!! Like if u think that is funny. And it did really happen

Cherry yes I believe so but in the wild they can live or die freely. Even if they life only 1 week or 1 day, it wud be a great day of their life. They will be the decision-makers of their own.
