Me and my fiancé stopped to use the restroom on our way to California for our business. We stopped in La Pine, Oregon Mcdonalds/gas station. Some called and reported seeing a pipe and a torch. I (Sadie) came out from using the restroom and saw a cop putting his hands to my window to look inside my vehicle. I than asked him to step away from my property as he was trespassing by looking inside as he was, he than asked me if the vehicle was my mine I said yes and I was handcuffed, didn't tell me why till after handcuffing me. He asked me to tell him what was in my car so I told him to my knowledge why there is a torch. Let me mind you, weed and dabs are legal in Oregon. We are stoners, not crackheads. My fiancé (john) came out and was handcuffed as well. Since legally we did nothing wrong they let us out of our handcuffs and further asked to ID us, as we refused because we had no reason to ID ourselves. They than said, if we want to do it by the book, just to ID us than they are just going to pull us over for a moving violation as soon as we get on the road, as he was convinced my tags were expired. I just bought the car off the lot.
